Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 2026 · Last updated: July 2026. Prime Tool Hub is operated from Sri Lanka by an individual, not a company. This page is written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
🔴 1. Your Files Never Leave Your Device
Nearly every utility on this site — text formatters, image editors, converters, encoders and generators — runs entirely inside your own browser. The file you open, the text you paste and the key you check are processed on your device and are never transmitted to this server.
There is no upload step to trust, because there is no upload. When you close the tab, the working data is gone, and no copy exists here to delete. This is also why a problem with a file cannot be investigated from this end: no copy was ever received.
You can verify this rather than take it on faith. Open a tool, disconnect from the internet, and use it. If it still works, nothing was being sent anywhere. The technical background is covered in the guide on securing API keys with client-side data processing.
An honest limit: a small number of features cannot run locally, and any page where that applies says so on the page itself.
🟡 2. What Is Actually Collected
No account is required to use anything on this site, and no sign-up, email address or login is ever requested in order to use a tool. Everything can be used anonymously.
Three things are collected, and it is worth being exact about each rather than claiming that nothing at all is gathered:
- Anonymous usage statistics — which pages are visited and how the site performs, through analytics described in section 3.
- Advertising data — collected by advertising partners through cookies, described in sections 5 and 6.
- Anything you type into the contact form — your email address and message, if you choose to send one. This is described in section 4.
Nothing you enter into a tool falls into any of these three categories.
🟢 3. Log Files and Analytics
Like most websites, this one keeps server log files and uses Google Analytics to understand traffic. What gets recorded includes IP address, browser type and version, internet service provider, date and time stamps, referring and exit pages, and page view counts.
This information is not tied to a name or an account, because there are no accounts. It is used to see which tools are actually being used, which pages are broken or slow, and where visitors are coming from. Google’s own handling of this data is described in Google’s privacy policy.
🔴 4. The Contact Form and reCAPTCHA
The contact form is the one place on this site where you deliberately hand over personal information, so it deserves its own section rather than a footnote.
When you submit the form, your email address and your message are sent to the site inbox by email. The form software used here does not save submissions into the website database, so there is no searchable archive of contact messages sitting on this site. A copy of the outgoing email is written to a mail log so that delivery failures can be traced, and that log deletes itself automatically after 30 days.
What you send is used only to reply to you and to fix whatever you reported. It is never added to a mailing list, never sold, and never shared with advertisers.
The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam submissions. reCAPTCHA works by collecting hardware and software information from your device, including your IP address, browser characteristics and interaction with the page, and sending it to Google for analysis. This happens on the contact page whether or not you submit the form. Google’s use of that data is governed by its privacy policy and terms of service.
If you would rather not be subject to reCAPTCHA, email directly instead of using the form. Both routes reach the same inbox, and the addresses are listed on the contact page.
🟡 5. Cookies and Tracking Pixels
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them for basic preferences, and analytics and advertising partners set their own cookies and small tracking pixels to measure how pages and ads perform.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. The tools will keep working, because none of them depends on a cookie to run. Blocking cookies affects advertising and statistics, not functionality.
🟢 6. Google AdSense and Advertising Cookies
Google is a third-party vendor on this site. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to primetoolhub.com and to other sites across the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising through the Google ad and content network privacy page, or through the industry opt-out page at youradchoices.com. Opting out does not remove ads; it means they are no longer targeted based on your browsing.
Advertising has no influence over what is published here. That commitment is set out in full in the editorial policy.
🔴 7. Third-Party Policies
This policy covers this site only. It does not cover other advertisers, or any external site linked to from here. Each third party operates under its own privacy policy, with its own opt-out choices, and those should be read directly.
🟡 8. Your Rights Under GDPR and CCPA
Because there are no user accounts, no stored files and no database of form submissions, the amount of personal data held here is small. It is not zero, so your rights still apply to what does exist.
You may ask what has been retained about you, and you may ask for any message you sent through the contact form to be deleted from the inbox and the mail log. Since submissions are not stored in a website database, there is no account record or user profile to correct. You may also opt out of analytics and advertising cookies at any time through your browser or the opt-out links in section 6. Personal data is never sold.
To make a request, email support@primetoolhub.com from the address concerned. Requests are answered within 30 days. Bear in mind that data held by Google through analytics, advertising or reCAPTCHA is held by Google rather than here, and requests about it go to Google directly.
🟢 9. Children’s Privacy
This is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. No personal information is knowingly collected from children. Since the tools require no sign-up and store nothing, the only route by which a child could submit personal data is the contact form. If you believe that has happened, send a message and it will be removed.
🔴 10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and this server is encrypted. Access to the site’s administration area and mail log is restricted to the site owner.
No system is perfectly secure, and it would be dishonest to claim otherwise. The most effective protection here is structural rather than technical: data that is never collected cannot be exposed in a breach, which is the main reason the tools were built to run locally in the first place.
🟡 11. Changes and Consent
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page changes with it, and any substantial change is noted there so you can tell at a glance whether something material has moved.
By continuing to use this website, you consent to this privacy policy. If any part of it is unclear or appears to be inaccurate, please say so — a policy nobody can follow is not much use.
